The Town of Boone has announced the resignation of Planning and Inspection Director Bill Bailey.
In a press release from the town, John Ward announced the departure and had accepted a letter of resignation from Bailey this morning. Jane Shook, Planning Supervisor, will assume Mr. Bailey's duties and provide supervision on an interim basis for the department, the release stated. A executive search for a new Planning and Inspection Director will begin after the New Year.
