Beginning Monday, February 26th, 2024: Drivers planning to travel on Tamarack Road to the Charter Hills Road intersection should prepare for delays or detours.
The Town of Beech Mountain Public Works has scheduled to complete infrastructure and rehabilitation projects within the right of way.
We understand it will impact travel while serving for the benefit of future structural integrity. There may be water service interruptions during this time between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The project is scheduled for completion in early April and work may be impacted by weather conditions during this time. We appreciate your patience.
Should you experience discolored or “cloudy” water please report this to Town of Beech Mountain Public Works and follow these steps to resolve:
- If possible, run a garden hose outside and away from you home remove any sediment or debris.
- Flush faucets in your home to remove any sediment or debris.
- The discoloration is non-toxic but not recommended for human or pet consumption or large appliances.
