UPDATE – The National Night Out event that was to take place tonight (9/30) at the Watauga County Recreation Center has been canceled. No information on any plans to reschedule.
Appalachian State University invites the community to a free appreciation meal at Central Dining Hall from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m – complimentary parking is available in the Rivers Street Parking Deck, located at 461 Rivers Street in Boone, with bridge access to the dining hall.
Watauga County will host a Public Open House Meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the County Administration Building Board of Commissioners Meeting Room at 814 West King Street. Residents and business leaders can review updated flood hazard maps and risk data.
