Much anticipated snow is back in the forecast starting tonight. Here's the forecast from National Weather Service: High Wind Warning in effect from 6pm tonight to 4pm Friday, Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6pm to noon Friday. Snow fall totals of up to 4 inches are possible across the High Country.

Today…Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers…mainly this afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph this morning. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight…A chance of rain showers in the evening. Snow showers likely. Snow accumulation around an inch. Very windy and much colder with lows 16 to 22. West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph…increasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent. Wind chill values as low as 4 below after midnight.

Friday…Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers in the morning…then partly sunny with a slight chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Little or no additional snow accumulation. Windy and much cooler with highs in the mid 20s. West winds 20 to 30 mph. Gusts up to 55 mph…decreasing to 45 mph in the afternoon. Chance of snow 50 percent. Wind chill values as low as 5 below.
