12:35 pm – Blue Ridge Energy Rolling Blackouts Currently Ending; Crews Continue Working on Outages Due to Storm Damage. More information at this link.

9:03 am – New River Light & Power to institute temporary outages. More information at this link.

8:58 am – Blue Ridge Energy has been forced to implement rolling blackouts to reduce their use of electricity due to a generation capacity emergency caused by the extreme cold. More information at this link.
