UPDATE – An equipment malfunction led to the outages.
Line technicians with Blue Ridge Energy are searching for the cause of power outages in Zionville this afternoon.
Renee Whitener, with Blue Ridge Energy, tells WataugaOnline.com that technicians are patrolling lines, looking for the cause. There are 257 members currently without power at 1:29pm and crews are working to restore it ASAP.
