With moderating temperatures and favorable weather conditions forecast for this weekend, paving operations are scheduled to continue along the future southbound lanes of 321 in Blowing Rock this Saturday and Sunday, January 30 & 31, 2016.
Areas that will be impacted during this weekend's paving operations include West Cornish, Sunset Drive, Church Street, Ransom Street, the southern intersection of US 321 Bus/Main Street and all businesses located in this area. Flagging operations can be expected at these locations at various times throughout the weekend as the paving operations advance along this section. Access to all businesses and homes along this section of the project will be available during these operations; however, impacts to driveways should be expected as the paving operations advance. Crews will be on site to assist motorists attempting to enter/exit these areas.
