This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia, southwest
Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Isolated strong to severe storms are possible mainly this afternoon
into evening. The main threats will be strong to damaging winds,
isolated tornadoes, and heavy rainfall. Aside from any storms, south
to west winds could gust as high as 40 mph into tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.
Strong gusty winds are expected across much of the mountains Friday
into Saturday, which may warrant wind advisories in future forecast
updates.
