This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

A cold front will pass across the region today, triggering showers
and widely scattered thunderstorms. A few thunderstorms will have the
potential of becoming severe for brief periods of time, and capable
of producing locally damaging winds and, to a lesser extent, large
hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

There is the potential for widespread rainfall on Friday and
Saturday which may be heavy at times and could result in localized
flooding.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
