This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia and southwest
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Flash flooding is possible this afternoon and into tonight due to
repeated showers and thunderstorms. There is also a marginal risk of
severe thunderstorms, with which the greatest threat would be strong
damaging winds.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.
A prolonged period of scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday and
Tuesday may result in localized flooding.
