This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop during the
afternoon and evening. This activity will be slow moving and has the
potential of producing heavy downpours and localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Afternoon temperatures will become 8 to 12 degrees above normal from
Friday through Sunday, with highs reaching into the upper 80s to low
90s. There is an increased the risk of heat-related illnesses for
those that are sensitive to heat, as well as those spending extended
periods of time outdoors.
