This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia, southwest
Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.
.DAY ONEā¦This afternoon and tonight.
Fog may reduce visibility at times. Greatest impacts will be from
along the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Fancy Gap area of Interstate
77ā¦and for the higher elevations where the cloud base intersects
the ground resulting in poor visibility.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVENā¦Saturday through Thursday.
Hazardous weather is not expected Saturday through Tuesday. A wintry
mix is possible late Wednesday into Thursdayā¦temperatures near
freezing.
