The N.C. Department of Transportation will shut down part of U.S. 321 in Lenoir for night work Monday June 8 and Tuesday June 9.
The road will be blocked from Nuway Circle to Seehorn Street each night at 7 p.m., and reopen the following morning at 6 a.m. Drivers will be detoured onto Creekway Drive and U.S. 64/N.C. 18 to return to U.S. 321.
Workers are closing the road to replace a deteriorating pipe.
