Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to appear in Boone on Friday to speak at the conclusion of the second annual Appalachian Energy Summit according to the Watauga Democrat.
The governor is scheduled to tour downtown Boone for a meet-and-greet at 2:30pm at Mellow Mushroom. With the governor's motorcade in town there could be minor travel delays around ASU and in downtown.
