No flagging operations are scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock. SLOW DOWN and EXPECT DELAYS from US 321 Bus/US 221 to Tanger Outlets due to temporary lane configurations. These temporary lane configurations will remain in place while construction operations continue in the area along 321 and the new alignment of US 321 Bus/US 221.

7:35pm – 3 car accident on 105 in front of Studio West Apts. Officers on scene, please use caution in the area.
8:51pm – Wreck on 105 in front of Studio West Apts is cleared up.
Tuesday May 5
Multiple flagging operations are scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock from Tanger Outlets to Cone Orchard Rd south of Green Park Inn. SLOW DOWN and EXPECT DELAYS from Tanger Outlets to Green Park Inn. Temporary lane configurations from Tanger Outlets to US 321Bus/US 221 will remain in place while construction operations continue in the area along 321 and the new alignment of US 321 Bus/US 221. Continued congestion near the old WHS entrance on 105 due to what appears to be sidewalk work.
Wednesday May 6
Multiple flagging operations are scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock from Cone Orchard Rd to Rock Rd as well as on US 321 Bus/ S. Main Street near Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries. SLOW DOWN and EXPECT DELAYS from Tanger Outlets to Sunset Dr. Temporary lane configurations from Tanger Outlets to US 321Bus/US 221 will remain in place while construction operations continue in the area along 321 and the new alignment of US 321 Bus/US 221.
7:17pm – Multi car wreck on 421 just past Skateworld, expect major delays in that area. EMS units are on the scene and preparing for WINGS to land at Cove Creek School, expect stopping of traffic in that area as well.
8:34pm – 421 wreck scene is cleared.
Thursday May 7

Friday May 8
12:35pm- Accident w/Injuries involving a motorcycle in the area of New Market/E King St. Emergency Personnel on scene use caution in the area.
5:14pm – Vehicle rollover in Southbound lane of 421 (headed towards Wilkes) near Stoneyfork. Emergency crew is on the scene. Expect delays if headed down the mountain.
