All flagging operations/lane closures remain suspended on 321 in Blowing Rock today in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday; however, work along various areas located outside the travel lanes will continue. NCDOT anticipates normal construction schedule to resume Wednesday morning, May 27th, weather permitting. There are flagging operations scheduled today on Westview Dr, weather permitting. SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT in the area from Tanger Outlets to US 321 Bus/US 221 due to the temporary lane configurations in this area. These temporary lane configurations will remain in place while construction operations continue along 321 and the new alignment of US 321 Bus/US 221. Flagging operations/possible lane closures scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock at various locations including in the vicinity of Sunset Dr, near Rock Rd, and at/on US 321 Bus near Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries. There are also flagging operations scheduled today near the old intersection of US 321 Bus near Chetola. SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT in these areas and especially in the area from Tanger Outlets to US 321 Bus/US 221 due to the temporary lane configurations in this vicinity.
