Scary situation for motorist in Boone Friday evening. According to a scanner dispatch just after 6:45pm, a black male was beating on cars as they were in traffic at “the big light” where 105, 321, 105 extension all meet. The man then tried to get into some of the vehicles.
Boone Police responded to the area and found the man before he could get into any of the vehicles. EMS were also dispatched as the man appeared to be on some type of drug(s), according to the dispatch.
