Monday July 6

July 4th Holiday lane closure restrictions continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock. Normal construction operations schedule will resume tomorrow, July 7th, 2015.

Tuesday July 7

Flagging operations resume on 321 in Blowing Rock. Anticipate flagging at/on Sunset Dr as well as between Norwood Circle and Skyland View Drive. Expect delays.

Wednesday July 8

Flagging operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock at/on Sunset Dr as well as between Norwood Circle and Skyland View Drive. Expect delays.

5:34pm – getting reports of a tractor and trailer stuck on Wilson's Ridge. Expect delays.

Thursday July 9

Various flagging operations and/or lane closures are scheduled today on #321 in Blowing Rock. Motorist can expect flagging operations and/or lane closures from Pinnacle Ave to Ransom Street as well as at/on Sunset Dr. These flagging operations and/or lane closures will result in delays from Tanger Outlets to Rock Rd. A new, temporary traffic pattern/traffic shift is also under the final stages of construction from Norwood Circle to Skyland View Dr. This traffic shift is expected to be fully activated by noon today. Stay alert in the area from Tanger Outlets to US 321 Bus/US 221 due to temporary lane configurations in this vicinity as well.

6:36pm – 3 Vehicle accident w/minor injuries on E King St near Country Inn and Suites. Please use caution, emergency personnel on scene.

7pm – Boone Fire units have cleared the scene of the wreck on East King Street.

Friday July 10

Flagging operations and/or lane closures are scheduled again today on 321 in Blowing Rock at/on Sunset Dr. Motorist can HEAVY DELAYS in this area as well as from Green Park Inn to Tanger Outlets. SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT to construction crews and equipment entering and exiting various work areas throughout the project. SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT to the new, temporary traffic pattern now in place from Norwood Circle to Skyland View Dr.
