following county, Watauga. - WHEN…Until 400 PM EST Friday.
- IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent due to excess runoff from
continuous light to moderate rainfall through the morning. This
includes the Watauga River. Low-water crossings are inundated with
water and may not be passable. - ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
- At 947 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
