ZIONVILLE – Multiple fire and emergency units responded to a fully involved camper fire in Zionville on Friday afternoon, December 26.
Watauga County Communications received a call at approximately 1:00 p.m. reporting a fire at the 400 block of Buckeye Ridge Road in Zionville. Upon arrival, responders found a fully involved camper fire.
Responding units included Zionville Volunteer Fire Department, Cove Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Beaver Dam Volunteer Fire Department, Watauga County Rescue, Watauga County EMS, Watauga County Fire Marshal's Office, and BREMCO.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Watauga County Fire Marshal's Office.
