Work in front of the Appalachian Theatre will continue this evening with parking spaces on the north side of King St. from Grand Blvd. to Appalachian St. closing 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m, and a work zone lane shift starting at 9:00 p.m. till 6:00 am.
Work also took place on Sunday night/overnight despite the high winds and bitterly cold temperatures. The installation of the Appalachian Theatre marquee is one of the final steps in the replication of the historic exterior appearance of the Theatre.
