BOONE – Additional parking options are available for visitors to downtown Boone through Sunday, January 4, as Appalachian State University parking lots remain unrestricted during the holiday period.
Appalachian State University Parking (Unrestricted Through January 4):
College Street Parking Deck, 162 College Street Drive
Student Recreation Center, 150 Bodenheimer Drive
Additional Parking Options:
Watauga County Parking Deck: Available after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday
Appalachian Regional Library Front Lot: Available December 24–28 while the library is closed
Visitors should note that Howard Street construction is currently underway and plan accordingly.
The Town of Boone thanked Appalachian State University and Watauga County for supporting tourism and downtown activity during the holidays.
