BOONE – “Corner Provisions,” a shopping-style food pantry at First Baptist Church of Boone, is reopening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month, beginning January 19, 2026.
The pantry is located at 375 W. King St. and is accessed from the back parking lot adjacent to the ASU parking garage.
Fresh and shelf-stable foods, including meat, produce, and dairy products will be available to any resident of the High Country who expresses a need. To reduce food waste, patrons will be able to “shop” for and select the foods they receive.
The pantry will open during the third week of each month as an effort to assist individuals whose resources run low toward the end of the month. Hours extend beyond 5:00 p.m. to accommodate patrons with traditional work schedules.
Monetary donations may be mailed to First Baptist Church, 375 W. King St., Boone, NC 28607 with “Corner Provisions” in the memo. In-kind donations may be dropped off at the same location.
