Residents and motorist in the Jakes Mountain Road portion of Watauga County may notice several fire trucks and personnel in the area on Saturday (March 14,2015).
A controlled burn is scheduled to take place at 861 Windwood Lane, according to the Boone Communications Dispatch office. Personnel will begin assembling at the site at 8am and the burn is scheduled to last into the evening.
