The Boone Police Department welcomes new Officer Taylor Marsh. Officer Marsh is from Wilkes County, where he still helps with his family farm. He served two years with App State PD and is about to graduate with his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.

Blowing Rock's newest Officer is Micah Mast. Mast graduated BLET at Caldwell Community College recently. He was awarded for having the highest GPA in his class as well as being the class leader.
Mast, a 2018 Watauga High graduate, also serves in the Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant. He will complete his field training over the next few months.
