One of the bluegrass music pioneers has passed away on Thursday night. According to a tweet from Nathan Stanley:
Dr. Ralph Stanley and Doc Watson, a Watauga County native, were instrumental in expanding the reach of both bluegrass and acoustic music worldwide.
