BLOWING ROCK, NC — The Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce invites community members to attend a Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, June 18th, with sessions at 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM at the Chamber office, located at 132 Park Avenue.

This orientation is a great opportunity to learn how you can get involved in some of Blowing Rock’s most beloved events, including Art in the Park and Symphony by Chetola Lake. Volunteers are essential to the success of these events, helping with everything from setup and logistics to guest services and behind-the-scenes coordination.

Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, volunteering is a fun and rewarding way to:

  • Support your community
  • Meet new people
  • Gain event experience
  • Be part of something special

“No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help and a love for Blowing Rock,” said Brooke Rule, Event Coordinator at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce. “Our volunteers are the heart of every event. Their energy, dedication, and community spirit are what make events like Art in the Park, Symphony by Chetola Lake and WinterFest truly unforgettable for everyone involved.”
