The Avery County School system has announced that the Avery High Football Team is quarantined until March 16th due to a COVID-19 spread.
In a release issued on Wednesday the system stated the team can return to their regular schedule on March 17th. The school system also said that three students at Avery High and a staff member at Cranberry Middle School have tested positive for COVD-19.
All schools in the system have been and will continue to be deep cleaned, the release went on to say.
