AVERY COUNTY-Avery County is transitioning out of distribution and turning it over to our county's established non-profits. The non-profits the county is working with are:

The non-profits have county support and are registering with the North Carolina Voluntary Organizations active in disasters where they can request supplies as they are needed.
Victims who have hurricane-related non-emergency needs should continue to call the county hotline at (828) 733-8273. There are other organizations who continue to offer supplies throughout the county.
