Appalachian State University will be performing an aerial infrared survey of the campus steam system Saturday, April 7, or Sunday, April 8, from 8 p.m. until possibly midnight, weather permitting.
The survey will allow the university to identify underground steam leaks as well as monitor the performance of recent steam line improvement projects. Individuals residing near campus can expect to hear a low flying helicopter during this period.
