BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State will kick off the 2018-19 season with its annual Fan Fest, presented by Wake Forest Baptist Health, on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Kidd Brewer Stadium
The event provides a chance to the meet the Mountaineer football team and other fall sport squads as a new academic year gets underway.
Members of the Junior Mountaineer Kids Club and their parents will have an exclusive half hour window to get autographs from their favorite App State student-athletes and coaches beginning at 6 p.m.
The Junior Mountaineer Kids Club is the official fan club for App State fans eighth grade or younger. Annual memberships to join the Junior Mountaineer Kids Club is $35 per child, with additional memberships costing $30 each. Memberships can be purchased HERE or outside Kidd Brewer Stadium on Aug. 18 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. and run to 7:30 p.m.
This year, live interviews will be conducted with student-athletes and coaches throughout the event and will be broadcast on the scoreboard. In addition, other activities such as inflatables, a dunk tank and a balloon artist will be on-site.
All fans in attendance will have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets for the 2018 season at the Ticket Plaza.

5:30 p.m. – On-site registration for Junior Mountaineer Kids Club begins
6-6:30 p.m. – Exclusive autograph session for Junior Mountaineer Kids Club members with App State coaches and student-athletes
6:30-7:30 p.m. – Event open to general public
Note: In an effort to allow as many fans as possible to collect autographs, student-athletes and coaches will be limited to signing one item per fan
