American Indoor Football Announces New Team Located In Western North Carolina – Boone Area

American Indoor Football (AIF) a professional indoor football league based out of Baltimore Maryland is pleased to announce its latest team and territory. The new team will be located in the Western North Carolina – Boone area and will be owned by Don Thompson. The team will begin AIF league play in the 2017 season. Don Thompson is from a football family his dad was an NCAA Division 1 college football coach and he himself was awarded a football scholarship to East Carolina University right out of high school. Don stayed at ECU for several years before entering the business world.

In business Don has achieved many accomplishments from company CEO, business strategist, author and entrepreneur. Don attributes many of his business successes to being around his father's football teams as well as his time in college with the ECU football program. Mr. Thompson states as the son of a coach, and former collegiate athlete I have always dreamed about extending my career as a professional athlete.  It is with great joy and enthusiasm that our association with AIF will allow us to create a winning franchise for our fans and an opportunity for our players to chase their dreams…

John Morris CEO of American Indoor Football is excited to have Don and his Western North Carolina-Boone area territory in the AIF. This location is a good fit for the AIF as they will have many state wide and regional opponents such as Winston- Salem and Raleigh North Carolina, Myrtle Beach South Carolina and Savannah, Atlanta and Columbus Georgia.
