It's not always during the winter when the bread aisle at local stores are empty.
As move-in day for many AppState students is here, a local resident captured how bare shelves at one area store were on Wednesday. Michael Houck tells WataugaOnline.com that though he was not able to get a picture of the empty bread aisle, it was clear the shower and bedding departments were wiped out.
Motorist around Boone are highly urged to allow plenty of extra travel time starting Friday morning due to move-in weekend.
