Sunday Night Power Outages/Blink May 13, 2018

Squirrels and a blown arrestor were the cause of power outages and blinks in the Highway 105/Foscoe/Valle Crucis areas on Sunday night.

Outage #1 began at 7:47pm and ended at 8:55pm, impacting 11 Blue Ridge Energy members on Sunday night. The impacted area was Hwy 105 near the entrance to Adam's Apple. A squirrel was the cause. Outage #2 also occurred in the same area, impacting 1 member from 7:53pm until 9:05pm.

The largest electricity blink occurred at 10:33pm and impacted 3,192 members along 105/Foscoe/Valle Crucis areas. A blown arrestor was the cause.
