On January 20, 2017, Narcotics Detectives and Patrol Deputies from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence 7443 Hwy 194 N, Boone, NC 28607. During the execution of the search warrant, a Methamphetamine Lab was discovered. The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) was contacted to assist with disposing of the hazardous materials.
Casey James Ward, 29, of 163 Red Maple Lane, Boone, NC 28607, was charged with Manufacture Methamphetamine. He is currently being held at the Watauga County Detention Facility in lieu of a $100,000 secured bond. Ward is scheduled to appear in District Court of February 7, 2017.
Danielle Denise Deiters, 37, of 7443 Old Hwy 194 N, Boone, NC 28607, was also charged with Manufacture Methamphetamine. She is currently being held at the Watauga County Detention Facility in lieu of a $100,000 secured bond. Deiters is scheduled to appear in District Court on February 27, 2017.
