An early morning fire is still under investigation as of Wednesday afternoon.
The fire, at 1007 Linville Creek Road, destroyed a detached garage, a camper and 3 vehicles, according to Watauga County Fire Marshal Taylor Marsh.
Marsh tells WataugaOnline.com the fire started in the area of a detached garage and moved into a nearby double wide. Marsh noted the house sustained about 25% damage, mainly confined to the kitchen and laundry room.
There were no injuries and as of Wednesday afternoon there was no estimated loss damage amount, according to Marsh.
Fire departments and emergency officials were dispatched to the scene at 2:45 am and the last units cleared at 6:45 am.
Cove Creek Fire, Zionville Fire, Boone Fire, Emergency Management, Watauga Medics, Watauga Sheriff's Office, Watauga Rescue and American Red Cross responded to the scene.
