Area school children and the community are encouraged to wear red on Friday (January 29, 2016) in support of a 6 year old battling cancer.
Aiden Amason is a Hardin Park student fighting stage 4 Desmoplastic Round Blue Cell Tumors. According to a Facebook page set up called “Aiden's Army“, the young man is facing extensive surgery and a long treatment plan including chemo and radiation.
There are events planned at Hardin Park on Friday afternoon from 2:30-4:30pm to show support for Aiden and his family. A GoFund me account has been set up and Aiden's Army T-shirt's are available for purchase to help with medical expenses. For more information visit “Aiden's Army” on Facebook.
