Boone Police Respond To Shots Fired Call On Wednesday Evening, Seeks The Public’s Help

On Wednesday evening, September 16, 2015, at approximately 7:00 PM, the Boone Police Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a fight in progress in the 500 block of Junaluska Road.  While officers were responding to the scene, additional information was received indicating that shots had been fired.  When officers arrived, the suspects had already left the scene.  Boone Police Department Investigators processed the scene and interviewed witnesses.  No injuries occurred during the event.

Boone Police Investigators are looking for a newer model black Subaru Outback or Forrester occupied by two white males.  The vehicle may have damage on the lower front bumper.  The driver is described as a slender, white male, approximately 23 years-of-age, with blond hair cut in a military style.  The driver was wearing a red t-shirt.  The passenger is a slender, white male in his early 20s with short black hair.

Update 8:18pm – According to a dispatcher with Boone Police- No one was injured, but no other details are being released at this time.

Update 8:34pm – Shane Robbins, PIO with Boone Police, tells WataugaRoads.com – We are on-scene at a shots fired call. No injuries. Investigators are working the scene.
