Monday April 4

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock including grading for sidewalk preparation requiring northbound traffic shifts from Sunset Dr to Little Springs Rd – no lane closures/no flagging.

12:11pm – Expect delays in the area of Deerfield Road near the Moose Lodge due to vehicle fire.

Tuesday April 5
Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock including fine grading for sidewalk preparation requiring northbound traffic shifts from Church Str to Little Springs Rd – no lane closures/no flagging.

1:54pm – George’s Gap Road at old 421 is closed due to accident.

3:41pm – George’s Gap Road at old 421 is back open.

3:45pm- Stuck FedEx truck causing problems at the entrance to Appalachian Hair Salon and backing up traffic on Meadow View Drive.

5:35pm – Big traffic backups on 105 in Boone due to broken down truck near Ingles

 

Wednesday April 6

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock including fine grading for sidewalk preparation requiring northbound traffic shifts from Church Street to Little Springs Rd and flagging operations from Blackberry Rd to Rocky Knob Rd for slope excavation.

Thursday April 7

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock including fine grading for sidewalk preparation requiring northbound traffic shifts from Church Street to Little Springs Rd and occasional flagging operations at Sunset Dr.

3:19pm – Report of tree down across road on Georges Gap near Forest Grove.

4:55pm – Be alert traveling this evening and night, multiple scanner calls for trees down in local roads due to high winds.

Friday April 8

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock including fine grading for sidewalk preparation requiring northbound traffic shifts from Church Street to Little Springs Rd, trucks entering the highway between Sunset Dr and Food Lion Shopping Center and occasional flagging operations from Blackberry Rd to Rocky Knob Rd.
