Appalachian State University Police is warning clubs about a scam making the rounds.
The scam involves persons contacting App State clubs posing as club presidents asking for the balances on their club accounts. They are then asking the clubs to redeposit those balances into a different scam bank account. One example of the scammers email account is presldent@mail2aim.com.
