…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches,
isolated 6 inch amounts on Mount Rogers. Winds gusting as high
as 55 mph.

* WHERE…In Virginia, Grayson County. In North Carolina, Ashe
and Watauga Counties.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Friday to 6 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. Roads will be slick. Areas
of blowing snow could significantly reduce the visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Blowing snow will result in locally
higher drifts of snow, and cleared roadways and sidewalks
could become snow covered once again.
