Samaritan’s Purse will be conducting an outdoor training exercise on Tuesday afternoon August 23 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m, according to an email from Blowing Rock Town Hall. Please do not be alarmed if during this time period you hear yelling and/or the sound of gunfire coming from the Samaritan’s Purse training center area. These exercises, using blanks, are being performed to help Samaritan’s Purse staff members become more familiar with hazards they may encounter during their missions abroad.
