BOONE — The Town of Boone has released its FY2026/27 Proposed Budget along with the official Budget Public Notice, Town Clerk Nicole Harmon announced.
The proposed budget covers the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2026, and runs through June 30, 2027.
How to review the budget
- In person: Available for review at Town Hall, 567 West King Street, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Budget workshop set for June 5
The Town Council will hold a Special Meeting Budget Workshop on Friday, June 5, 2026, to review the proposed budget.
Community members are encouraged to review the proposed budget ahead of the workshop and submit any questions or comments to the Town Clerk’s Office at (828) 268-6204.
