…Dense fog in the higher elevations…
Watch for areas of dense fog today especially along the higher
ridges. This includes through Fancy Gap along Interstate 77 and
along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some visibilities will be as low as
a few hundred feet. Patchy drizzle will also add to the hazardous
driving conditions.
If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leave
plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you
