…Areas of Fog Today…
Watch for areas of fog today which may result in sudden changes
in the visibility. Dense fog is possible at times along the Blue
Ridge Parkway, and along I-77 near Fancy Gap. The fog is expected
to persist through the day, a result of easterly winds forcing
very moist air into the Blue Ridge, and causing the cloud base to
lower and come into contact with the ground.
If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leave
plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
