…INCREASED FIRE DANGER NOON to 8PM WEDNESDAY…

Relative humidity values of 15 to 25 percent will combine with
wind speeds of 15 to 25 mph and dry fuels to result in increased
fire danger across northwest North Carolina and far southwest
Virginia Wednesday afternoon and evening.

People are urged to avoid outdoor burning on Wednesday. If you
must burn, use extreme caution since fires can grow quickly and
become dangerous in these conditions. Ensure that fire suppression
equipment is readily available. Properly extinguish and dispose of
any smoking materials.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors.
