10:00am – accident reports via scanner have tapered off in the last half hour. Main roads are passable and appear to be in good shape according to the webcams and incoming reports at this time. Motorist could still find snow covered areas as winds pick up and snow continues to fall.

9:52am – Starting to see some power outages in Watauga already, count up to 73.

9:12am – scanner getting more active with accident calls. Allow plenty of extra travel time this morning if you have to be out.

8:24am – still getting reports of many snow covered roads all across the county. No major accidents reported via scanner, but Sheriff Deputies have been attending to several cars off to the sides of roads in the county.

7:35am – the view in downtown Boone & 105 in Foscoe from the live camera page

7:25pm – Boone Police officer also says that some streets in Boone have become snow covered – via scanner

7:19am – Sheriff's deputy reports that Rock Crusher Hill (105) has gotten really bad. Several cars on the sides of the road in that area – via scanner

5:36am – No reported travel issues at this time. Roads are just wet.
