With spring officially here road work and projects around the area are starting to get into full swing. Here's a day to day running list of work (not including 321 in Blowing Rock) as is found out about.
Friday March 23- Via twitter “@WataugaRoads Looks like they will be paving inbound King St today. Traffic patterns changed this morning.”
Thursday March 22 – Furman Road closed to traffic between Birch and Kimberley.
Tuesday March 20:
Monday- Wednesday of this week – One lane on Blowing Rock Road near Blockbuster heading toward campus will be closed off due to town of Boone working.

Paving is taking place this week on some sections of 194 between Valle Crucis and Matney. According to a worker with Maymead they are planning to be on the job site all week. More details coming.
