This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina and
southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Snowfall up to an inch is possible this morning.

Untreated roads and walkways will be snow covered and hazardous. Any
melting today will refreeze and result in areas of black ice tonight
and early Sunday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills are expected Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotters, CoCoRahs observers, and the public are encouraged to send
reports of snowfall from the snow event of yesterday and early this
morning to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, VA. Reports
can be submitted via phone by calling 1-866-215-4324, through our
social media platforms, by email at rnk.skywarn@noaa.gov, or online
at www.weather.gov/rnk.
