This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Snow showers over the past couple of days have produced light snow
accumulations at the higher elevations, especially above 3000 ft. In
these areas, untreated roads and surfaces may be snow covered, slick
and hazardous this morning with temperatures well below freezing.
Gusty winds may result in blowing snow in those locations that
experienced more than an inch of snow.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.
There is a chance for snow on Tuesday. Otherwise, the probability
for widespread hazardous weather is low at this time.

snowfall reports this morning to the National Weather Service in
Blacksburg, VA. Reports can be submitted via phone by calling
